How I got here

I studied Computer & Information Systems Engineering at NED University of Engineering and Technology in Karachi, graduating in 2023 after starting in 2018. Before that I did my HSC in Pre-Engineering at DJ Sindh Govt. Science College.

I didn't wait for the degree to start building. I began taking on Python and Django work on Fiverr in 2018, in my first year of university, and added Upwork in 2020. That freelance practice is still running — it's where I learned to scope work, talk to clients directly, and ship things that people actually pay for rather than things that only compile.

What I build

Most of my work is full-stack product engineering. On the backend that means Python and Django, PostgreSQL, and Docker; on the front it means React, Next.js, and TypeScript, with Node.js where it fits. Increasingly the interesting part of the job is the AI layer — designing systems where a model is one component in a pipeline that has to be reliable, observable, and affordable to run.

I care a lot about the unglamorous parts: getting structured output out of a model without the parse failing at 2am, keeping a Django and Next.js split from turning into two codebases that disagree about the truth, and knowing when a product should be shut down rather than iterated on. Those are the things I write about.

Seenable AI

Seenable AI is the product I'm building now. It takes a single product photo and generates studio hero shots, lifestyle scenes, on-model imagery, and ad creatives that an e-commerce brand can run as-is.

The premise is straightforward: a real product photoshoot costs more than most small brands can justify per SKU, and the output is fixed the moment the shoot ends. Generating the imagery instead makes it cheap enough to try twenty variations and keep the two that convert.

Distack Solutions

At Distack Solutions I'm a Senior Python Django Developer and Project Manager, leading a team that builds custom web apps, mobile apps, AI applications, and automation for clients. Our work spans generative AI, cloud computing, and data engineering.

Across freelancing platforms the practice holds a 4.9-star rating and has worked with over 100 clients. I also serve as Head of Product Development at Simka Solutions in Germany, working remotely across R&D and delivery.
